Transport from New Jersey Cruise Port

  • It leaves New York on 25 February, FBaby. It's probably too early to know about any itinerary changes yet - the devastation caused by recent hurricanes has been major.

Hopefully with relief work the cruise ships will be back to these Caribbean islands soon - for lovely holidays and to support the tourism industry moving on for those who depend on tourism for their livelihood.

We'll be eager to hear how things are progressing as time passes - it is still early days.

There are not at the moment, redirected towards Mexico (lovely places too), but hopefully will be by end of Feb. They do stop in the Bahamas.

Have a wonderful time. It's amazing to leave NY under 0 degrees and get to the Bahamas where it's 28!

Oh yes, FBaby - we are really looking forward to it. Freezing New York will be quite something but can enjoy the beautiful sunshine on the cruise.

Of course we'll accept itinerary changes but will be very pleased if the Caribbean ports can receive the cruise ships and visitors again. Thank you so much for your encouraging replies - will pack a woolly hat for New York!

Sign up for an Uber and Lyft account. Cheaper than using normal cabs and more polite drivers in my opinion. There are signup bonuses for both, with Uber use my code andyy9 when you sign up and you will get $15(£10) off your first ride.Use the same code for Lyft

Sadly UBER wouldn't let me use the code will try Lyft lol
