1 entry to 1000 competitions or 1000 entries to 1?

Was just trawling through some C2W's and I wondered if I might be better just choosing one prize and only entering that, which raised the thought in my head ... what would you rather?

1000 entries into 1 competion

    Yup, me too :)
  • Same- much more annoying not to win a competition you've spent so much time on.... plus, if you enter lots you may just win one or even more!
Living thriftily ;) most of the time
  • 1 entry into 1000 comps. Multi-entry comps should be outlawed!

I'd die of boredom if I had to enter the same one 1000 times. And I'm with JayJay - hate multientry comps anyway.

On the flipside of this, if it was lottery tickets ... I'd want 1000 tickets on one draw rather than 1 ticket on 1000 draws.

    Why?

Doesn't really increase your odds of winning significantly having 1000 tickets into one draw

I don't know why, it's just a psychological thing ... doesn't apply to competitions but does to the lottery, weirdly

I went the opposite way to most of you. 1000 entries into one competition. I would sooner put all my efforts into a couple of prizes that I would really love to win than lots of prizes that I wouldn't mind winning. I choose a handful of click to wins and enter them every day.
