    UCS is a debt collector

    IGNORE
  • Thx Redx - not even worth sending them an e:mail saying that I deny the debt, just to put it on record?

your choice , but my stance is to IGNORE the par@sites

no matter what you do it wont stop them harassing you , but will confirm any details you have given them

ie:- if its a letter, it confirms the persons name and address are correct

an email gives them contact details etc

there is nothing that YOU can gain from contacting them

when I said IGNORE, what I actually meant was

    IGNORE

I cannot make it any simpler or plainer than that

Not worth it, as Redx says .... IGNORE THEM

Debt collectors operating in the great parking scam, are
simply leeches who attach themselves to the scam.
They have no clout, never will do, they are chancers only

They will only go so far and pass it back to the PPC
    telling them THEY FAILED

If the PPC wants to chance their luck, they may take
on one of the 4 dodgy legals who leech off the great
parking scam .... incompetence reigns with that lot

Chill and wait, you may receive more toilet paper
from the rogue trader debt collectors so either file
it under "c*ap" or flush it away

If you hear back from the PPC then return here

They texted me this week then phoned in order to seek resolution, ie payment, which I said I wouldn't be doing.

Block their phone number so they don’t pester you again.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Got it - loud and clear, thx guys
  • Hi Orchard427, sorry to jump in on your post but I had exactly the same PCN at the Castle Car Park at Windsor (UK Parking Ltd) re fluttering ticket. Unfortunately, I have only found this forum after I have gone through appeal to PCN Parking Solutions and IAS (making all the mistakes stated in the FAQ's for Newbies...), and now I have received a letter from Ultimate Customer Solutions seeking £160 as per your post #21.

I am now trying to follow what has been suggested on the forum to ignore debt collector's letter and perhaps send a complaint letter to the landowner, but not sure how and where to.

Would you be kind to share your experience with the complaint letter?

    Many thanks in advance

Hi Redx, thank youf for your post but if the PPC choose to go beyond the debt collectors' letters what are the chances to win small claims for the fluttering ticket? and what would be the worst case scenario for losing at the court (I suspect the cost will go beyond what has been charged by the PPC)? Thank you.
