    Has there been any part of Brexit so far that hasn't been a mess?

    Why should we wait until it's too late to point out what's wrong with it.

    Alas common sense prevents me from being excited about Brexit.

    The sun still shines, I'm living a good life, all is good up here. Yet brexit is entirely without reedeming features.

    The really funny thing is that before the referendum that is exactly what Farage said the brexiteers would demand if they lost by a small margin...

    PS: if the brexiteers really thought they!!!8217;d won, why on Earth were they making any sort of demonstration yesterday?

    No doubt after the next election. There'll be complaints that the right party didn't win. My forefathers fought for the right for us to have democracy. Not live under mob rule. Either respect it or emigrate if you are unhappy. Little point in going round and round in circles without a substantive argument.

    Protesting and making your view known is an important part of democracy.

    The thing with elections is that they are reversible. With Brexit, even if we abandoned it now, significant damage has been done.

    'we abandoned it' I think the real problem is that 'you' never accepted it.:rotfl:

    She said the government would "hold the pen about what is contained within the referendum" and would, she claimed, be unlikely to offer staying in the EU as an option on the ballot paper.

    Correct:

    Do you wish to accept the deal negotiated by HMG with the EU?

    Do you wish to leave the EU without a deal?

    cue....blah de balh spoil your ballot with 'I,love Euuuuuuu'blah de blah march again blah de blah petitions blah de blah crowdfunded legal action blah de blah facebook groups blah de blah...................

    All of which will need to be fitted into...

    Is the bus brexit or the EU?

    Since all the polling shows a remain win

    The polling tended to favour Remain and Clinton in 2016. How did that turn out?

    Current polls reflect the fact Remainers are very motivated to take part in polls & that Remain really has never stopped campaigning.

    In a further vote Remain would lose by more as;

    Gov't wouldn't this time be backing Remain.
    Gov't wouldn't be as manipulative in strong arming The Treasury to give negative only assessments.
    Project Fear is a laughing stock.
    Nobody knows what Remain means - ever closer union / rebate / opt outs, all unknown.
    No fake trade queue threats from Obama.
    Remain means handing powers to Brussels, yet Gina Miller & co all say Parliamentary democracy & will of the people is now their primary concern.
    Restless, somebody pour me a vino.

    I'm still not sure what we're supposed to have accepted. Can you tell me what a Brexit is, yet?

    Notice Remainers are avoiding my question.
    Let's have another go;

    WHAT DOES REMAIN MEAN, WHERE ARE THE EU'S TERMS OF REMAIN, ARE WE TO KEEP OUR REBATE AND OPT-OUT'S, ARE WE TO EMBRACE EVER CLOSER UNION AS HAS PROCEEDED SINCE JUNE 2016?

    Remainers claim they are guided by facts, so lets see the precise EU terms for Remain.
    Restless, somebody pour me a vino.
