so I dont really get much by Hermes.
However recenlty had a few items. no problems so far.
bought an item from a seller.
2 day despatch,5-7 days delivery.
Item bought 3/10/17
Marked as despatched Wednesday 4th. Tracking updated to collected Thursday night (10.50pm). Im assuming it was via parcelshop.
Friday night it updated showing in the pipeline. (again hours of delay on tracking updates)
Saturday showed same tracking but wih a notice showing my item was die delivery tomorrow.
Today it shows due today,Yay!
However tracking still shows the item is sitting in a hub.
My point? I know enough about parcel tracking//networks to take this tracking and due delivery with a pinch of salt.
The seller has met their timescales and it should be delivered within their stated timescales.
However a less knowledgeable buyer could be jumping up and down when that item didnt arrive on the Sunday as the tracking states.

Why I never use them , if I can help it , anymore
Try doing a claim for 5 parcels in one go with them. Was a nightmare!
They also are telling parcel 2 go that a parcel weighing under 5kgs was over and I need to pay more ( both seller and me ( buyer) both say just under 5kgs and I sent photos of it on the scales showing under 5kgs - parcel 2 go accepted this and said don't pay them if they ask again for more money)
Myhermes are the worst although my myhermes chap that delivers parcels ( can't help how people send stuff to me) is a lovely chap and very honest
You are right about feedback , myhermes helped ruin my feedback with that losing 5 parcels and taking so long to accept that they were "lost"If you don’t like a thread or post just move on by.

I've had this before (some time ago) and was doubtful that my parcel would arrive on the Sunday as it was still at the hub by mid-morning. However, the parcel did arrive on Sunday evening - it turned out that couriers who chose to work on the Sunday collected the parcels directly from the hub as local depots weren't staffed and there was no trunking operations on Saturday night.0 -

I've got to say that my experience has been completely the opposite - after serious issues using Royal Mail and UPS previously I have moved all my business to MyHermes and after sending several hundred parcels I have had 1 issue (parcel was somehow forgotten about at the depot and got to the customer a couple of days late). With RM in particular I expected about 5% of my shipments to be reported as INR by buyers.0 -

How weird , I wouldn't use anything but RM as not one missing parcel in a year which is a huge contrast to myhermes. I must send at least 50- 60 a week and RM signed for have been brilliant. If you don’t like a thread or post just move on by.

Naughty Hermes.
I shall of course be leaving negative feedback for the seller and assaulting Hermes on Twitter0 -
I still have My Hermes parcels out for delivery from Christmas 2015. Their tracking is not the best and always seems more detailed if you have uploaded it to Ebay and click on it via Ebay.
But far better than the black hole that parcels disappear into with Royal Mail until they (hopefully) arrive.0 -
The only main problems I get with Hermes is sending items to very rural locations, farms etc. Depending on the individual courier there, they may "prioritise" various rural routes in their own manner, and the tracking often updates to say delivery expected today, and it then isn't delivered. In between expected delivery days it often shows on the tracking as back at the depot, but I'm not sure if this is just a euphemism for under the drivers seat???! :OWarning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
