its the stuff that modellers use to put tissue covering on their model aircraft amongst other uses. Smells a bit like nail varnish.

One use I know is as an ant detterent. Put it over where you think they are coming in eg corner of window, along skirting board, & it deters them as they can't crawl through it. Has advantage of not harming pets or children
Personally I never use the stuff on my body ever since I read once that it can fet into the ovaries & cause cancer

I rub a tiny amount on the insides of our swimming caps, makes putting them on easier and stops them getting stuck together.

Keep a little film canister of it in the bike bag so you can dry your inner tube after finding the hole before you mend a puncture(just like the french chalk you used to get in puncture kits).
You can use it as a dry shampoo in an emergency . Sprinkle in,disperse and brush out.

Apply liberally to armpits (without inhaling, in light of the link above - eek!!) before epilating or shaving. Silky smooth and no nicks or dragging from epilator tweezers or razor blades.
  • here is a DIY one.

When lifting old sticky back tiles from the floor or glue to glue down carpets, put a load of powder down and rub into the sticky patch and volia.. sticky gone :D
