Netflix question

Options
I can't afford to regularly subscribe to Netfilx - but would like to have it for a few months over the winter, and then again later in the year. Does anyone know if it's allowable to have a subscription for a few months, stop it, start it again a while later.
I've looked through the t&t and can't immediately see anything to prevent this

Just to be clear I'm not talking about trying to get a free months subscription again, just paying for a few months, cancelling, then repeating this say 4 or 5 months later.

TIA

Yes, I do that, have a few months, then if there is nothing I fancy, drop it for however long then start it for a couple of months, then drop it if I’m away abroad for a while.

so is it free month every time you start again or does it have to be a new account?

Many thanks for all your replies - thought that should be the case (that you could stop and start) but just wasn't sure

You can drop it at any time. You can also have up to four devices watching at once under different profiles with one standard subscription if you have anyone to share it with? I share mine with my grandparents and parents, works out £2.50 per household a month :)
