Yodel lost my parcel that was meant to be returned to argos

    I'm extremely upset and now might have to vval the police!
    I just LITRELLY got told NO agai n by Kerry over at the HQ so no wherelse to go to Argos after this lady she mailed an said she can't do anythijng more
    contacted exerts they're uhh unable to help me
    the nerve of this lyi ng woman Kerry she said to me in plain English that ARGOS IS NOT APART OF EXERTIS UK MAIL!
    When I just spoke tol EXERTIS today and he said they are!
    So meone is lying they've Los try package and don't want to pay the money...is the police where I go now?

    contacted Exertis via that for no reply since the last I posted here!
    Finally called them today through a number......ARGOS GAVE ME. EXERTIS said it's over 30days they can't do nothing transferred me to Argos lady seemed like she was going to help me...didnt.

    I called (text removed by MSE Forum Team) at the directors office as she's the one who mailed me ....She lied and said Argos does not use EXERTOS I have the phone call recorded from exertis saying they are APART OF Argos.. But didn't ask permission when I told Kerry I'm recording this call to her she became even ruder than before as she was already very abrupt and didn't seem to care at all...!


    They're refusing to help
    DO I call the police as they know my packages been lost and are refusing to help me it's not a matter of being lost it's stolen. This horrid horrid women (text removed by MSE Forum Team) said and I quote
    "I'm challenging the whole there was a glitch in the system in the first place!" Basically sayikng she doesn't think there was a glitch I explained I have that call recorded I have evidence and why couldn't she go back and listen to that call from July where the lady admitted it was a glitch & that s why 6 boxes were sent!!

    DO I call the police what do I do?!?

    Ok excuse me if I seem to be a newbie on this case I dont have store cards. But I was thinking if you paid for it on a store card does that not have the same section 75 claim protection like in credit cards, if so you could raise a claim like that. Secondly if they are charging you for 6 instead of 1 cant you just load up the app and review your order history and screen shot that as that confirmed you only ordered 1 there for surely they can not enforce anything beyond that as that is their fault and wouldnt have an argument to stand on when you could prove you only ordered 1 and their defence being but we sent 6. Also if your account has this balance on are you sure your not getting all these late payments or even defaults added to your account with fees damaging credit report.
  • Jeez. I hope things work out for you. I guess you are learning some lesson!! And what a lesson to learn. I'm just plodding thru these pages as I hope I don't have to come here again as I'm waiting for Yodel to pick up a bike. I don't know all the procedures but will be asking for a receipt and,if I can,photo the pick up van and its reg number.
    Right now I'm very worried about Yodel having read it's reviews. I haven't called them,the retailer has employed them. I'm photo-ing everything I can of packaging and wot-not. Having been abused in the past I am very suspicious of any person/authority with power.
    Will just be buying from the High Street in future. Too much stress and worry

    Thanks forthe people who are responding in helpful manner. To hoogle,I will try that and appricte someone understanding. To tyreon-100%. I hope to God I now learn to not only document everything but be extremely wary of anybody collecting anything regardless of high or low price! This is just so messed up. I'm extra stressed becaase having to take legal action might cost me. My fault for trusting Argos.but if you've shopped somewhere for years, I would not expect anyone to do this. That's the lesson to just always be cautious!
    Speaking to (text removed by MSE Forum Team) from director's office Argos, on the phone I mentioned earlier-was such a let down. Its unbelievably astonishing and rude of her to doubt that Argos even made a mistake in the first place. I honestly think she was just giving me another run around and knew because I didn't have a reciept she can't do and say what's she likes? It's not right... simple check on the phone records would prove what I'm saying. Anyways unfortunately legal action might be the avenue....hoping to God this is solved before that.. I've never had to go to court for anything
    Hopefully ppl can learn from me though maybe I don't know ...hope I learn firstly though lol. The Argos app is where I got it from unfortunately unlike Amazon they don't have order history I don't have a screens shot even though prior to that I always did. I don't know why I made such mistakes. I'm thinking of contact watchdog about yodel and argos though only because so many people have had problems...
