Probably sees it as a bit easier than going the SO route instead? However, with the number of Tesco DDs going awry as reported in this thread I think I'd err on the side of caution and set up a couple of SOs in addition.

Switch on 6th for me, email this morning, money this afternoon

On a basic account too which was very nice of them! Got a email saying responded to my complaint about not getting a full account.... £250 and an upgrade would be even nicer, even if their systems are a bit dodgy!!

No issues from me using the app or the account opening process

Just checked my account and was supposed to have 3 DD paid out to Tesco for £1 on 4th jan, £3 on 6th Jan, £4 on 8th jan none have been paid at all this month when they paid fine last month from the B account.
What could have gone wrong will they have cancelled them? And most importantly will I still get the £250
