Currency: unstable Spain, unstable Euro?

With a flair for geopolitics not seen since Custer decided to visit Little Bighorn, Mrs C and I have booked and paid for a luvvly long weekend city break in January.

In Barcelona.

That aside (though 'that' being not inconsiderable) should we be looking to buy Euros over the next few days? We're Revolut users.

Crystal ball expert advice welcomed. Also, does anyone know what Blackpool's like in January?

Blackpool in January is rather nice if you like breezy cold days. A walk along the seafront will certainly build up your appetite as well as a desire for some warmth. You could pop in to see Cinderella at the Grand Theatre or Peter Pan at the Opera House. Or you could venture to Lytham for an outing.....

Blackpool is Morecambe's poor relation, the latter having its own winter micro-climate. And nowhere can beat the views across the Bay to the South Lakeland Hills from Morecambe's 5 mile long prom.
