Yeah to be honest it has gone on for so long now, I just want it to go away. I probably will not hear back from them anyway. Is this letter ok to send then?

Why does it start "To whom it may concern..."?

You know who you are writing to, so 'Dear Sirs" would be more appropriate.

  • Hey Everyone! I had no luck with the letter to Gladstones asking them to drop the second claim and have now received a new letter with them requesting that the matter is considered on paperwork and not a hearing! I would still like it to go to an oral hearing.

So read any other Gladstones thread and you will know what to do (always happens).

Gladstones have 2 "drop points". The first is when the need to pay the hearing fee. The second is after the WS exchange when they have to book the rent-a-mouth.

They've paid £25 to the court for the chance to harass you "legally" so they let it rumble on. Just follow the standard process and make them work for the privilege of harassing you. Sending a SAR so they do all the work for your own WS.

IMHO they are going to have a lean time next year as they have worked through the industry and p*ssed off a lot of courts. So can't see them repeating this nonsense for another 12 months - but there are always mugs in every industry. Why should PPC's be any different.

  • Ok thanks, I will just stick with the procedure I used for the last one. Sorry if I am being stupid, but what does SAR mean?

I received from the court the Directions Questionnaire, and then I received a letter from Gladstone's with the same Directions Questionnaire and another document (Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (No Hearing)). The cover letter which came with this document from Gladstone's says "Please find enclosed a copy of our Client's completed Directions Questionnaire, however I have nothing in there which has been completed?

    +1 ... agreed

But WHY do PPC's use the incompetent Gladstones
    MUGS indeed, complete idiots.

BUT WHY ???? what makes these PPC's put their
    trust in the incompetent Gladstones.

The answer might be helpful to understand the depth
    of the scam

This is a link to a picture of the new letter, I am not sure if this should have been filled in or if I have to fill it in.. https://ibb.co/e2ovH6

I started to fill the top out, then stopped thinking I shouldn't be filling it out.

Hi Everyone, back again. I’ve just had the second court date set on 1st May and this time they have sent me a witness statement. It’s been 2 years since I got the fine for parking outside my house (permit fell on the floor whilst driving and didn’t realise). Have to try get back into it all now, I have to send my documents I want to use in court 2 weeks before the hearing.
