Dog walked, kongs done, stuff put away.
Plumber turned up at 10ish and then disappeared for an appointment so won't be back before midday at a guess. And therefore won't be finishing the work today... and has a full day job tomorrow (I was under the impression that he had a full day job here yesterday and today TBH). He'll come back on Saturday, which means it will be done, but doesn't help my stress/exhaustion or give me much time to clear up after him and prep for the decorator.
I need to remember that it'll be over soon (and then I have to go to my mum's to help her clear up for the decorator and afterwards put everything back!).4 -
Tipping with rain, so the gardener is doing inside jobs. So far all the curtain tie-back hooks have been installed. Hopefully that means a tiny bit more light making it into the house!
A mirror and a picture are going up that I can't do myself, and then all the shower/bath/basin sealant will be checked and redone if necessary. It's unlikely that it'll stop raining, so I don't expect any of the outside jobs to be done. But at least he's not sitting at home unpaid, and I'm getting things done that need doing.2
