Clearly the scything did me a lot of good. Throat is improving and I slept well.
Lots of deadheading done this morning, so garden looks a lot tidier. Also hung out the washing done overnight and two loads of woollens. The last load didn't get out as I managed to chop my finger with the secateurs just as it finished... I got the stuff on the line in, and with the help of a neighbour stopped the bleeding enough to get a dressing on. At least, I think it has stopped (it's that second skin stuff). Still a bit sore, but did some more dead-heading (garden waste goes out tomorrow night and bins aren't anywhere near full!) and once the rain started managed to get the ironing done. As it's the side of the tip of my index finger, typing is a little hard work. I'll see how it looks tomorrow and decide whether to call the surgery - but I certainly didn't fancy driving for an hour to A&E with a bleeding finger and then sitting there for however long it takes to be seen.
Next up is heading back out to get more stuff into the garden waste and recycling bins.6 -
Spent the morning in A&E due to lack of staff at surgery. Have lost a bit of my finger, but it now has a proper dressing. Typing is difficult. As will lots of things be until it has healed properly.
Bins are out

I might follow your advice on the wine and chocolate.
I didn't pay any attention to not prepping veg - courgettes, toms, onion, and peppers are in the SC and I need to work out how to delay the start until cheap rate.4 -
