Have finally exchanged after issuing an ultimatum. I don’t want to hear anything more until I get confirmation of completion and drop off the keys! Packing starts again tomorrow as the second van goes on Wednesday.7

Pleased to hear things are finally progressing. I hope they continue to do so at a pace that suits you.

Congratulations, at last! Hope completion date is good for you too.2

Thanks all. I gave them a choice of three dates for completion, as I was fed up with the faffing about. They obviously decided they did want to buy the place after all!3

Today a friend came over and we managed to empty my three veg trugs onto the compost heap. We found lots of slugs and snails and she kept asking me what I wanted to do with them. Compost them obviously - its not like I'll be here to use it! They'll need disinfecting before I reuse them, and I've ordered new liners.
Next van needs to be filled on Wednesday and I'll probably be driving to my mum's on Thursday or Friday as there's a house I should have a look at, so a LOT of packing needs to happen tomorrow. Mostly in the garage. Hopefully I'll get some more inside stuff packed up too - I need more than a van-load ready just in case some stuff doesn't fit. And I'll need the stuff I want to take in the car as well (things I'll need if I end up staying at my mum's for a bit - like my spare monitors and various fragile bits and pieces that I want to store now rather than later.7 -
Packing is hard work. I'm not sure I've got enough ready for tomorrow's van load.4

Second van has gone! I now have a lot of space for doing more packing.4
