Are the white geraniums the ones with the dark purple eye and the delicately crinkled leaves? I love those! 😊 Make a useful change from the endless pink ones …

Where do you plant your heuchera? I find mine fade out miserably quite quickly.

Just under 23C upstairs here too. Hanging out for my 1 tog duvet …!

Hope Stinky appreciates his early morning walk 😊

@KajiKita I plant Heucheras in a shady area and they seem to be quite happy there and come back year after year.

Haven't tried heucheras in this garden yet @KajiKita so I have no idea whether they'll like it or not! Soggy in winter and dry in summer is a challenge. The soil is sandy and compacted and mostly grows dandelions and hawkweed if left to it's own devices.

The geranium isn't very exciting - just a white geranium phaem. But it's a good height, and looks good with the brunnera behind it in the right hand border.

Stinky has been walked, Sunday sardines have been dispensed (cat feeders need a deep clean at some point), greenhouse is open, courgettes are on the outside staging as an incentive for me to actually get them in the ground today, and the main part of the patio has been rinsed and scrubbed - it needs rinsing again but I'm having a rest (so is the extension lead before it gets too hot. Doggy lick mats also prepped and lined up to freeze. Kongs need doing at some point, and veg needs picking and cooking.

So once the patio has been rinsed I hope it'll be ready for garden furniture - however, the plan is to potter in the veg patch and greenhouse until it gets too hot.
