    I would say possible cancellation
You are quite correct. My slipn of the pen!
unlikely ,along with the fact that Ryanair have now said they will offer rerouted with other airlines

With that in mind these low fares look very tempting and I bet some of those who said never again are also tempted

Well it might be considered unlikely, but awful if you as an individual -and there are very many of those - if it comes es to pass.

I wonder how much the Ryanair business can stand to pay for flights on other carriers, ensure they have enough staff and can ride out potential loss of custom. It might be that they do not have the resources to service their bookings! For the sake of the staff and customers I hope not. Even if I was a fan of flying with them, I don't think I would accept the risk!

I don't think people realise the size of Ryanair. The value of the company is in the billions. There will be some impact on customer loyalty, but considering that they serve areas that otherwise have very limited options, they will maintain their core customers.

There are many other airlines that are at greater risk of going bust, even after the current debacle.

This isn't the problem. Ryanair has to get new customers all the time to fill the planes, it does this by regular price promotions, but this only works when potential customers have limited awareness of how the airline operates and the inherent risks, when the awareness is raised by news stories the price promotion strategy is limited, the planes aren't full, fewer ancillaries are sold and the destination tourist board and airport complain when the forecast passenger numbers are below expectations.

"Core Customers" and "Brand Loyally" I'd suggest are the very antithesis of money saving experts. I like Ryanair and have flown with them many times but I'd go with any other airline if its cheaper to get me from a to b.

Ryanair has unveiled designs for the seating on its new fleet of Boeing 737 MAX 200.

Ryanair claims passengers will have 31 inches in which to stretch their limbs, up from 30, (which is more than BA).

Ryanair’s new “ergonomic slimline seats”, are designed by manufacturer Zodiac for its “gamechanger” 737 MAX, the first of which will be delivered in 2019.

You could have problems of another kind with slimline seats, (but extra legroom)?

As a generalisation as to whether the cheapest is always the best value, over on the energy forum, some of the cheapest companies get horrendous customer service reviews, however it doesn't deter people from using those companies.

You pays your money and it's up to you to make an educated choice. We choose to make a decision based on our knowledge.

My family fly with Ryanair regularly and are perfectly happy with them and have never had any complaints. It's all down to your own expectations of what a company offers, then you won't be disappointed.

Off to finish packing today, no email received yet, and I'm looking to cherish every moment of quality time spent with family, (and extended family).

That's what is most important to me, at this moment in time.
Fred - Where's your get up and go?

Barney - It just got up and went.

Ryan air are on my no fly list along with Thomson and Thomas Cook. I'm 6ft3 and find their seats are poor with little leg room. EasyJet are my favourite for short haul flights and Norwegian for long haul.

My dad is your height and rates Jet2 for leg room. Plus if you have check in luggage you get 22kg allowance plus 10kg hand luggage
