    The colour was 'Dark Horse' ... It was B&Q's own brand paint. It's deffo more of a dark brown more than a grey but it does have elements of both colours. Think they were quite accurate with the colour description.

    The lighting will make a lot of difference.

    Your room presumably has natural light from windows, Ikea has no natural light.

    In our living room the walls look anything from grey to pale blue depending on the time of day and amount of light coming in.
