My Wife & I New Customer Sky Quote £131.99 p/m - HELP!

We are moving new home and looking at all the options for Broadband and SKY TV.

This is the quote we have received which seems extremely high is there any deals out there to help lower the price ? Yes I know we opted for all the perks and extras but still £131.99 is very high ...

Your Sky TV £61
- Box Sets
- Sky Cinema
- Sky Sports - Complete Pack

Sky Sports HD £6
BT Sports £27.99

Sky Q Multiscreen £12

Sky Fibre Unlimited £6.01 ( 18 months £13,99 off sky fibre unlimited)
Sky Line Rental £18.99

one off costs £40

With BT i have checked just for the unlimited fibre internet and BT Sports we were quoted - £42 p/m with a £120 cash card and a £50 cheque rebate...

What would be the best cheapest way for me to get Sky TV and Internet with BT Sports ?

  • Put your postcode into https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/ and select BB & TV. You'll need to click through any likely looking deals to add either Sky or BT sports and see what the total price would be.

Also, MSE's similar search facility, which can search for combination deals from different suppliers, and take details of (some) required TV channels.

    Broadband unbundled
  • Go back to Sky and tell them you expect a minimum of a 50% discount on the TV costs otherwise you will go to BT or TalkTalk TV. If you are in a Virgin Cable area, you could get a quote from them, telling them Sky have offered you a 50% discount, and then play the two off against each other.

Do not settle for anything less than 50% off any TV package.

I certainly would not pay anything like that for TV - including your TV licence, you will be spending £1734 a year to be brainwashed by a screen........
