Worth having a look at PC World as their website reduced prices apply when you Collect and Go.
Friend got a Buffalo wireless router the other week for £30. It so happened that the cheapest one was also suitable for cable which is what they needed.0 -

I got a refurbished D-Link wireless router, PCI and PCMCIA network cards from ebay at a reasonable price (about £60 all in as I remember.) A colleague at work pulled a face when I said who the manufacturer was, but its worked OK for me.0

Linksys are budget as are Buffalo, and from my own experience they work like a 'budget' model too. I would always say Netgear are the best. They may cost a bit extra (not a lot) but I have never had a problem, and I do wireless installs on a daily basis!0
