It sounds awful to say this but it could be a blessing in disguise that he fell if it means he gets checked out properly and sorted out. Fingers crossed for you both.
Grey day so laundry has gone in the tumble dryer and just had a quick bite to eat as i volunteer at the library this afternoon.

If it is making you ill you need to see a doctor and involve OH if you can. In a decent company the word "stress" should spur them into action.
I waited in yesterday for the handyman who did not turn up so phoned this morning and he will come round on Monday instead and an electrician comes round on Friday to put up a new working outside
light by the front door. Now the nights are drawing in I want to feel better illumination when I or dds get home or answer the door.

Afternoon all.
csarina - hope your DH is still in hospital, you could do with the rest.
Well the threatened rain hasn't arrived yet, perhaps the rising winds are pushing it all away. It's definitely in the air though behind all the low white cloud there is a sun shining somewhere.
Teaching was OK, the scattered masses got on with some work quietly with only a couple telling me that the language of the document I gave them was too hard! That is the whole point...
Went to the bank, drew some cash out and totally forgot to pay in the cheque. Now got to get through a load of emails, most can be deleted though some need a little action.
I'm very lethargic and my eyes keep wanting to close, no idea why as I get more than enough sleep each night.
Camelot - glad you're improving.0 -
Thanks Judi ....time to get brave and tackle Grumps shed now?
hahaha not a chance! For a start i cant get in. Its got so many security systems on it i wouldnt know how to start, not to keep me out (i dont think) but to keep thieves out.... Theres keys, codes and a flipping loud alarm on it of which i dont know how to turn off. Apart from that, ive turned the house upside down, i'm sure i can leave one area of it untouched. He assures me he can still squeeze in so thats good enough for me.
In seriousness, i would like to combine two sheds into one when the top one rots....If i give it a good kick do you think it will rot faster?
Csarina, i hope they keep your OH in a little longer to sort him out. Mom kept falling years back, it was something to do with her inner ear and balance. Ive fallen over a few times but only when i've been three sheets....:rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Afternoon all
We didn''t have DGS today as he was sick in the night. DD stayed home from work to look after him. I took the opportunity to go and help at foodbank and DH has been working through the drying from last night's vomiting episode. DD hasn't got room for a dryer.I expect we will have DGS tomorrow as he won.t be able to go to nursery.
I am sitting here relaxing with the laptop as I didn't get away from foodbank until 3.15. Dinner will be macaroni cheese, sausages and green beans.
Csarina sending you hugs and I hope your DH gets sorted out soon.
Well have a good evening all.

Hi everyone
Had a lovely peaceful 40 minutes or so 'sunbathing' on my bed along with both cats and my laptop. It's quite chilly and windy outside but lovely if you're in my bedroom or the kitchen, which are at the back of the house.
Going to make corned beef hash for tea tonight, I have the potaoes prepared and the corned beef chopped up. I just had a real fancy for it.
Judi - can I ask how you make your smoked sausage pasta? I seem to have had a smoked sausage at the back of my fridge for ages and its dated the 1st October.
Well, going to move and hoover downstairs before its time to make tea.0 -
Csarina I wish I could do something more helpful than sending posi-vibes. x
Karcher I echo what others have already said - get your GP and Occy Health on board. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about; my medical retirement was 50% due to physical disability and 50% due to the complete mental breakdown that damned place caused me to have.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Its a 60 mile round trip to see OH, I had to wait almost and hour to get parked. OH had just come back from having another CT scan and more blood tests. They were still waiting for the results when I left, so doubt he will be home tonight.........0

Thinking of Csarina, such tough times for you

And also of Karcher, can only reiterate what others have said about speaking to a doctor etc re work related stress.0 -
Hugs to Csarina - hope they find out what's causing problems for your dh.
Hugs Karcher - as others have said please see your GP.
I've been missing again but reading. Ds2 started his new college course and has moved into accommodation with meals as the college is one that offers outdoor courses and is in the middle of the countryside. His course is free but have to pay for the other part.
I have also started a new job and almost completed the 1st week of training, 2 more weeks to go then mentoring for 5 weeks. Will be working shifts, I'm looking forward to passing my training.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care0
