There is an article in "Utility Week" but other than that there seems little info.
I would be grateful for anyone who knows what can go wrong. I am on SSE standard tariff so I have to move fast. They don't offer the Warm Home Discount but their price is still remarkably good.

They launched on the day that BG raised its prices so I doubt whether anybody actually knows anything about this supplier. Questions are already being asked:

  • I checked out Trust Pilot which gives good reviews from >230 reviewers. Unfortunately as I am a new user I can't post the web address, but a quick search on a well know search engine and you should find it.

I've just sent them an email query myself. I'll try to remember to share the feedback.

As the initiator of this thread, I should report back. Energy suppliers must be similar to Phone and Broadband suppliers - you do not know how bad [or good] they are until something goes wrong but I am content that I am saving approx >£500 p.a.

It seems though that the onus is on the customer to keep a strict watch that everything is going well.

We have just switched to them last month from Eon, so far so good. I like that they have web chat option in the online account. I was able to use that feature when I wanted to request to have our direct debit collection moved to a different date and got connected quickly to a customer service rep and she was able to do that whilst explaining what we can expect as a result of the change (it would take effect in July) and that they would also need to initiate a payment to cover for this month's direct debit (fair enough). I also got the option on whether to receive a transcript of our conversation by email which I have requested and everything has been set up as I have asked. I'm just waiting for the final bill from Eon and I'm hoping that we won't get a nasty surprise from them.

I'd be a bit wary of the post by NUDDIN. First ever post, few words and discrediting a company with no facts.

I may not have submitted many posts but mine are all genuine.
