Charging to receive letters

So a while a go I got a parking 'fine' from TNC, and ignored all he subsequent letters (there were quite a few)
I have now received a letter from their 'solicitors'
Question being, could I email them stating a price that I would charge to receive any more mail from either them, or their client (TNC) say, £2000.
Of course stating that I am happy to receive the correspondance, however it is subject to admin costs.
And of course not stating the case ID, just the address where the charges would be incurred.
Is this actually something that could be done, and be enforceable.

Not entirely sure what you're getting at there Umkomaas.
There was no intent to send them quivering into a corner. The intent was to charge them for sending me letters.
If you don't know you can just say.

What I'm saying is you can if you want but your chances of it having any affect whatsoever is absolutely NIL. They'll chuck it in the bin, so don't waste your time.

They will have received all sorts of variations on that theme and I'll guarantee they've never once stopped sending out letters as a result and will never have once paid anyone for the privilege of doing so.

Your going the right way about getting a CCJ against you, You cant enforce a fee on someone sending you letters, and ignoring them is doing you no good either

no judge is going to entertain it and as you have no contract its pointless

more chance of getting a judgment on harassment , and that wont be easy because they will say they are acting on the instructions of their client and they will say you owe their client money

as umkomaas says, its never stopped them yet and its their day job

if this were possible and a good idea , it would be the advice on here from the regulars, in the newbies sticky thread and Martyn Lewis would pontificate about it in public as a suitable ripost

TNC are not a parking Co , they are debt collectors of the lowest order , the contact ro park will have been with a parking Co , perhaps the OP can say who?

No, because £2000 is unconscionable and unrelated to any damages or distress caused to you, and not a contract that's recoverable.

Ok, in the same vein, anyone that wants to post on this thread must now pay me £100 within 14 days.

Note my prominent signage there. No wriggling out on technicalities.

However I am a reasonable person so will allow a 10 minute grace period for prospective posters to read my terms before I take any action.
