Oh no to the plumbing. Hope it dries out ok for you.
I feel for ds friend. What a mess - I can’t ever imagine saying that to one of mine....but as they say.... there’s 2 sides to every story and we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors....even so it seems far too harsh to turf your child out.
The de cluttering is going great guns :j:T:TJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Glad the plumber managed to sort it out for you. Hopefully it will all dry out and the TV will be back on before you know it although I'd be putting my rubber gloves on before I flicked the switch just in case

Glad you got sorted with a decent plumber
Some of them cost the earth! It's amazing how far the water can go, I just had my kitchen done in December and a day after the back wall was papered my youngest flooded the bathroom!!! Good luck with the no TV for DS, we had a game of draughts yesterday (in-between his fortnite battles) and I felt like we were the waltons lol x

Thank you Milann. I agree that telling a child to move out seems pretty extreme. I believe parenting is for life, not just until a child is eighteen.

Thanks TF2. We have a trip switch and the one for the downstairs sockets won't switch on. It's a good safety feature, although I wish we had a seperate circuit for every room.

. I hate floods but we seem to have them fairly freqently, although this is the worst one we've ever had.

Glad the plumbing got sorted quickly. Hope the electrics are working today!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
