Thanks BB50 :). That's great news about your PPI :T I'm really pleased :D. Do you have any special plans for the money or will it go into general expenses?

It is strange how different the term dates are for people. A four week term seems far too short!

It is DH's money as it was before we met however he would never have claimed it himself so I reckon we should share it :rotfl: we are going to buy a decent Hoover - we always buy cheap ones that are rubbish and our current one is useless. He also wants a 5 in one garden tool - he had the money saved from birthday and Christmas money but used it to pay bills so I think he deserves one (whatever they maybe :rotfl:) there won't be much left but I would like to use it on some plants for the garden. I am still waiting to hear about our claim for a packaged bank account.

I agree a 4 week term is far too short. I hate arranging\paying for childcare!

Hope you recover this evening xx

Sorry about Barclays but the important thing is you tried :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 3501000
    Buffer fund 0/100
    Debt Free (again) 25/072025
  • Thanks BB50 :). A new hoover sound like a good investment and DH definitely deserves his five piece garden tool (I don't know what they are either :rotfl:).

I'm too tired to do any more de-cluttering until half term but I could always pop over then :rotfl:. The sun is out here now too, it's very odd! You should definitely restart your treats fund so you can go riding again :).

Thanks DIA :). Yes the important thing is that we tried as you never know what you could have had other wise.

  • Well I've washed and hung up DS3's hoodies and put another load of laundry on to wash. I've also put the dishwasher on.

I've printed off my two payslips (for March and my current one for April) plus my P60, one set for my work folder (yes I've set one up :rotfl:) and one set to give the accountants.

I've also done three PA surveys for 27p, 20p and 50p. I did two OP surveys too, one for 15p and one for 10p. It's going to take me a long time to get rich that way :rotfl:.

    Shame about Barclays :(
