    Thanks Beanie :).

I slept better last night but did wake up a lot so I must have been a bit tense. I'm worried about my mum because she's hurt her back again and is in pain and depressed :(. We went around early yesterday evening to try and cheer her up. I suggested a mobility scooter so that she can get out and about more. I thought she'd hate the idea but she actually thought it was a good idea! I think she's been depressed about being trapped in the house. So her and my stepdad are going to look into what type of scooter would suit her and whether to rent or buy. She seemed much more cheerful when we left :).

We haven't heard from DS2 or DS3 yet this morning, but I expect they're busy getting ready and having breakfast. They had a barbecue with BIL and wife last night and obviously enjoyed that :).

The weather is better today and the sun is out, but DH and I feel quite tired. Also we need to be available in case DS2 and DS3 need to ask us anything. Once they're on the plane we'll have a three hour window, so we thought we might nip out to a place where we can sit outside a cafe with lovely views and have coffee. I don't want to be in all day. We're hoping we might be able to give ourselves a day off next week and go to an NT place.

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend :).

    Thanks Abba :).

BIL dropped DS2 and DS3 at the airport earlier. DS2 went through security and messaged us to say DS3 had lost his boarding pass :eek::eek:. Our stress levels immediately went through the roof . We said tell him to go back to security and ask them what to do! Anyway they printed him another one in the end and they got on the plane all right :rotfl:.

Once their plane took off we went to a cafe with sea views and had a relaxing drink and then a little wander. It was nice to do something for ourselves and it was warm and sunny, almost too hot :).

When we got back their plane landed in Iceland three minutes later :D. I'm so pleased they've got there safely :).

Kids eh they always give you stress . Glad they got away and landed safely. At least you could enjoy your time out with DH . My DS has travelled back from London today and had train cancellations to deal with , but he is now at home so I can relax now.

It's been way to hot for me today , I had a little nap this afternoon .

Enjoy your evening, it's been a great BH weather wise again.

    Just catching up.

The cafe sounds lovely, I seem to be more about sitting in nature at the minute and enjoying every minute of it so constantly looking for new places to visit and go to.

Glad they got to Iceland safely. He'll probably find his boarding pass when he unpacks. I try to keep things 'safe' but always end up losing it because it's so safe I forgot where I put it! x
