Have a lovely weekend Hairy, hope you are not too tired this week. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x5 -
I too love your posts Hairy & think they are real life rather than moany. I have two primary school aged boys and it's nice to hear from the other side how classes work.
I was thinking of you earlier when thinking about life getting back to 'normal' whatever that may be & I thought life will truly be back to normal when I am reading about Hairy's Saturday Saunter! It's amazing how I just want small quite insignificant things back in my life & human contact even if that's sat in Costa on my own but with people milling about getting on with life.
Enjoy your weekend xx7 -

Hopefully that’ll sort it but we really need it to stop raining now.Glad you had a good nights sleep and a good day 👍IzzyBee said:I live at the top of a hill but my heart goes out to anyone that gets flooded it’s a terrible thing. The weather seems fairly consistent everywhere, rain and more rain ☔🌧🌂💧.

Thanks @Fidelia @milann @Sun_Addict @Nicnak @Seasidegal58 @doingitanyway @Sunshine_girl2 @beanielou
I'm very glad that I live on a hill quite high above sea level. I complain about walking up and down all the hills but at least I don't live on a flood plain. It must be awful to flood or worry about flooding and I feel very sorry for people in that situation. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I had quite a good remainder of the week at school. Having fewer children gives us the opportunity to get to know them a bit better and craft sessions are slightly less chaotic 🤣. I do find lunchtimes boring though with so few children as the time really drags and it's been too wet underfoot to let the children go on the adventure playground 😒. I miss the usual chaos. The weather was better for the last couple of days, in that at least we could stay outdoors, although one day we had sun ☀️, rain 🌧, and then sun and rain 🌦at exactly the same time!
We've been told we need to take a twice weeky virus test from next week. We collect the tests from school, test ourselves in the morning before school, log the result onto a government website and email school with the result, all before 8am. I'm going to have to get up about half an hour earlier than usual to fit all that in 🙄. I find it a bit irritating to be honest because the only place I've been for the past three weeks is school, apart from the supermarket. The main risk to me is the children infecting me and they won't be being tested, sigh. Anyway, at least it will protect me against other staff members who might be infected without knowing it, I suppose. I've been working at school with this virus for a year so it feels a bit like bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted 🙄. I feel like the government just want to say that all school staff are being tested so it's safe. Well it may be safe for the children but it sure as hell isn't safe for the staff 😡.
My uncle is going to get his vaccine today and he's in his late seventies, so hopefully aunt, stepmum and stepdad will hear soon. My dad has already had his first dose because he's in his late eighties.
I'm really enjoyed having a day at home today 🙂. I've put two loads of washing on, handwashed two wool items, cleaned the kitchen and relaxed with a few Costalot lattes inbetween ☕☕. It's a lovely sunny day, but I don't feel any urge to go to the park as I have too much to do at home. Anyway I hate to think how busy the park would be on a sunny Saturday. The weather feels positively spring like today 🌱.
I hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing Saturday 🙂 .
