Out of all the masks we tried, my favourite were from Iceland.  They were 3 for £5, fabric, only available in black I think.  I don't know if they are still selling them.

I agree Hairy, a lot of people are doing their own thing and it is really annoying me too.
I like how you have planned for retirement. I do hope you are able to save that amount for your retirement. x
    Thanks Nicnak :)

Completely agree with you about idiot mask-wearing, HHoD. I have come to the conclusion that a proportion of these people must be sufficiently thick to think Covid is spread by chins. The rest of them? I honestly think they are not bothered & just fling a mask on anyhow simply because they require one to get in the shop.
The infection & death rates today have indeed been grim. I feel so very sorry for everyone in hospital fighting the illness, both as patients & NHS staff.
    Take care now, HHoD,

Thanks Foxgloves :). The huge number of idiots out there does make you want to despair!
These types of people are the ones who are spreading this virus unfortunately. I’ve experienced lots of queue jumpers and people not wearing masks properly and they seem to be mostly the elderly who are most vulnerable☹️
    It's infuriating!

My eldest DS works in the COVID ICU at our local hospital. He said it’s never ending, they are full so are the wards with COVID patients. I just hope the next few weeks the numbers will start to drop but with some of the idiots out there, you do wonder.xx
It must be so stressful for your DS.

Good idea to save as much as you can.
I dont think that more masks are a luxury but more a need.
I change mine at the FB, as you say they get damp.

As masks are available at school I'd rather use theirs to top up my own supply rather than buy any more, as I'm one of the lowest paid workers in the school.

Thanks Jwil :). Do you know how many layers the Iceland masks have? All my current masks are two layers of material with a filter pocket that I put a piece of kitchen towel in to make a third layer. As I'm at school mixing with all the staff and 20% of the children I need something that will keep me really safe.
They are three layers of fabric. There's no pocket to add anything else though. They feel nice and thick compared to most I've tried.  This is them: https://www.iceland.co.uk/p/step-ahead-reusable-face-mask/81855.html#q=mask&start=1  We got the kids the children's version as well.
