Completely agree with you about idiot mask-wearing, HHoD. I have come to the conclusion that a proportion of these people must be sufficiently thick to think Covid is spread by chins. The rest of them? I honestly think they are not bothered & just fling a mask on anyhow simply because they require one to get in the shop.
The infection & death rates today have indeed been grim. I feel so very sorry for everyone in hospital fighting the illness, both as patients & NHS staff.
Take care now, HHoD,

These types of people are the ones who are spreading this virus unfortunately. I’ve experienced lots of queue jumpers and people not wearing masks properly and they seem to be mostly the elderly who are most vulnerable☹️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

My eldest DS works in the COVID ICU at our local hospital. He said it’s never ending, they are full so are the wards with COVID patients. I just hope the next few weeks the numbers will start to drop but with some of the idiots out there, you do wonder.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.006

Good idea to save as much as you can.
I dont think that more masks are a luxury but more a need.

Out of all the masks we tried, my favourite were from Iceland. They were 3 for £5, fabric, only available in black I think. I don't know if they are still selling them."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". As masks are available at school I'd rather use theirs to top up my own supply rather than buy any more, as I'm one of the lowest paid workers in the school. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

. Do you know how many layers the Iceland masks have? All my current masks are two layers of material with a filter pocket that I put a piece of kitchen towel in to make a third layer. As I'm at school mixing with all the staff and 20% of the children I need something that will keep me really safe.

Yes I think you need something more protective than the ones that suffice for a quick nip to the shops.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
