A new phone was a lovely present, HHoD, & veryuseful too. Yes, I don't think us 50-somethings are going to be getting vaccinated anytime soon.
I wish Johnson & co wouldn't keep saying things should be better by Easter. I think next Christmas is more realistic, as soooooo many vaccinations to do.

I echo 'happy new phone ' ! A very well thought-out present. So glad to hear all went well for Xmas and you could really enjoy having your family together.
We've used Zoom a lot, several hours on Xmas Day, and will see DGS open his presents this afternoon, as he's come back to his Mum's after spending Xmas with his Dad. Still not too sure how two visits from Santa have been explained !
DD2 said that Santa would come while DGS was was asleep, and that after doing a few chores she would be going to bed. DGS said, 'Tell me when you're asleep, Mummy' !5 -
So glad you had a lovely Christmas with all your family, you deserve it after working so hard all year. How lovely of them to treat you to a new phone 😊

Your new phone was a very thoughtful present from your children 👍
As others have said I think it’ll be a long time until we get the vaccines.....they seem to have gone quiet about the Oxford one. I’d rather them spend time making sure it’s safe though than rushing it out.
We tried to book a NT place but they’re all fully booked around here so no chance for us.
EH I love the things children say about Father Christmas 😂😂 I’m gutted that we still have my gc presents under our tree as we were expecting to travel to see them...then dd said not to chance posting them as the post where they live is very erratic with lots of workers either poorly or isolating. I’m pleased theyve always been told them some presents are from the man in the red coat others are from people. So they are happy that we sent a little present with Father Christmas, the rest are here under our tree from us.January spends - £587.586 -

I always used to have Mr SA’s cast offs until a few years ago when I finally got my first brand new iPhone. We’ll just have to be patient until it’s our turn for the vaccine I’m afraid, they have to get through a fair few very vulnerable people first. I read somewhere where someone suggested it would be better vaccinating the young ones who seem to be spreading it about first and shielding those with health conditions, it’s hard to know what’s best.Nicnak said:How lovely to get a new phone and you spent it with family too.
It's hard to know what is happening. I'm not even sure the government know what is happening either x.

NT places must be popular near you @Milann as we've never found one fully booked, although there are a lot in Devon and Cornwall.
