I’m so sorry to read about your BIL - cancer is a cruel illness. Please look after yourself too - don’t underestimate the grief of losing your BIL.
Well done on getting your course finished. Fingers crossed that you get a permanent job after your hard work.
The weather has been awful at weekends recently - I need to do some gardening too. I could have probably done with doing some today but went out for a lovely walk instead. We thought the front hedge was dying in all the heat at the beginning of the year but it’s growing for England now with all the showers and needs a proper good haircut 😳January spends - £587.586 -
Hairy
Just caught up with your diary. So sorry to hear about your BIL; do take care. I've just last week lost my eldest SIL, and we are now thick in the toils of funeral discussions, with the same issues that you have. Supporting your sister a bit later is so valuable; and you are doing it now too, at a distance. This virus, eh? I'm going between laughing at some truly hilarious memories; sadness that we couldn't be with her at the end; and gladness that we had each other. Be kind to yourself love Humdinger x7 -
Hi HHD. So very sorry to read about your BiL. I always think the hardest part is after a funeral when everybody starts to get on with their own lives again, so I'm sure your sister will appreciate you being there for her after the funeral.
Well done on completing the course. I really hope something comes up for you at the school you work. xx5 -

Thank you everyone for your kind messages. There are some lovely people on here. I feel so sorry for my sister as she's devastated by her hubby's death and from diagnosis to him passing away was just two months
. Her son is staying with her at the moment so I'm thankful for that.

Thinking of you all. Gentle (((hugs))) XX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy5 -
