Well today was interesting! My tutor wanted to do a telephone discussion with me this afternoon about some particular topics, so I read up on them this morning before school to prepare.
Then I walked to school in the hot sun ☀️ desperately trying to avoid people (there were lots of them out today) and had to drink a glass of water when I got there. Despite me only having seven children to look after today, one managed to have a toilet accident 😱, one managed to bang his head on the fence 😱 and one scratched her leg on a trike 😱, so I had to keep sending children indoors to find a staff member to sort them out (they were trying to have their lunchbreak poor things 🤣). It seemed a bit easier to keep them apart today so either they, or I, am getting the hang of it 😂.
After my shift finished I drank more water, walked home and drank yet more water (it's really warm today), had a shower, had lunch and revised the topics again. Then my tutor rang and we had the discussion which she recorded . It was her asking me questions and me answering them so I'm not sure why they call it a discussion 🤔. Just before my tutor rang DS1 managed to fill the kitchen up with smoke and set off the smoke alarm 🙄.
Anyway I'm glad that's over and it will take me a few more percentage points towards finishing my course . I can finally relax now 😁.
I hope everyone is having a good Thursday 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

. I was really dreading it for some reason but it was fine and I had a nice chat with my tutor afterwards too
. She records the discussion so I think that's partly why I was nervous.

Natural to feel nervous but it’s done now and another part of your course ticked off. Sounds like it went well though 👍 Never a dull moment with the children that’s for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I had a good session at school with more lovely sunshine and an excuse to be out in it ☀️. Now I'm off for two weeks 🙂. I'll have plenty to do when I'm off as I want to do two assignments and can catch up on the housework, washing and gardening. I can also do a park walk every day and try to do ten minutes yoga every day. I also have a small art project to do for school over the weekend 🌈.
Unfortunately the scan results have given us very bad results for BIL 😞. He has three areas of growths. One in his right lung, one in his spine and one on his chest. They're going to do a biopsy early next week to decide on the treatment but they said they can't operate. I feel so sorry for my sister; she's lost her twin and her mum in the last six years, and now her husband has cancer. I don't know how she'll cope ☹.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
