Morning HHD
Hope you've enjoyed the half term break and well done on getting the assignment finished. I can definitely relate to that weight off your shoulders feeling. Hope the wedding goes well and that it's not too emotional for you. I'm also hoping that even though it's their day your step dad is tuned in to how difficult this must be for you all. xx

Traditionally the hen/stag do used to be the night before but lots of people seem to have them quite a while before (probably so they can recover in plenty of time). A few drinks in the local doesn't seem to be enough nowadays. I hope you manage to enjoy the wedding, it's bound to make you think about your mum but I hope you don't feel too sad.
Well done on completing both assignments and getting some jobs done this week - a week well spent

). I've spent two whole days of my holiday doing two assignments but I'm very relieved that they're done now. I will be glad to finish this course though as it's making me a bit stressed at the moment as I feel I'm too busy.
I'll be glad when the wedding is over. I'm sure their will be nice parts but it will also be upsetting in parts. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Well done on completing both assignments and getting some jobs done this week - a week well spent. The stag/hen dos are just a meal but I'm glad I dont' drink as I'll definitely feel less tired tomorrow by staying off the booze! I will be glad when the wedding is over.
I have got quite a lot done this half term but there is so much more that needs doing and more time to relax would have been good. I'll have to start looking forward to the easter holidays 🤣.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I went to my friend's house for coffee this morning and it was good to catch up.
This afternoon I've been ironing, folding up washing and generally tidying up.
We'll have to get ready soon to go to the stag/hen meals! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hoping your meal was enjoyable last night.
Thinking of you today as it's bound to be an emotional one for you. The main thing is that everyone can move on now. It sounds as if you are more accepting of Stepdad's position, even though you think he's been very hasty in remarrying. I doubt he meant any disrespect whatsoever to your lovely Mum but at his age there isn't always the time to do things at a more leisurely pace. Everyone deserves to be happy with someone close to share life's ups and downs and I hope everything goes well today and in the years to come for all concerned.
Sending hugs7
