BT Broadband and line

Hi
I took out a Infinity package in October 2016 and got the pre-paid card. I’ve been really happy with the service. I paid the line rental upfront.
THey have emailed me offering to renew the deal for 18 months at £32.48 per month which is quite a jump up.
Is there any point in phoning to try and negotiate or shall I just leave and go with Vodafone for £20 a month?
Is an option leaving BT and signing up in my wife’s name or won’t that work as it’s the same address?
Thanks in advance for any help

You can phone BT and if the offer is no good tell them you will be considering your move options . Hopefully they may then come back with a better offer .
I pay circa £35 pm for Infinity 1 advance line rental and BT TV Entertainment Plus HD .0 -
Thanks. I’ll try it. If not I’ll give Vodafone a go0

I didn’t say anything specific regarding any ISP.
Personally, if something I have works from a company I’ve had no issues with, and they can offer me a product or service at a price I think is reasonable, then they’ll continue to get my business.
I wouldn’t change to an unknow to save a couple of quid.0
