Sorry - The ticket/invoice/fine/scam - whatever you call it was sent to our lease company who forwarded it to us. On that ticket it say's;
"Payment is now required int he sum of £100 within 28 days 0f the Issue Date of this Notice, i.e. no later than 02/10/2017.
However , if payment is received is received within 14 days of the Issue Date of this Notice, i.e. no later than 18/09/17 then a reduced amount of £60 will be accepted as full and final settlement.
The creditor is: Vehicle Control Services Limited."

No I didn't.
It's on the parking charge notice that my lease company forwarded to me.

I have tried to attach the letter/fine so you can have a look but as a new member, I'm not allowed to.
If you wish to attach anything (omit personal info) paste the URL and change to hxxp. Another member will then be able to convert the link for you
As others have mentioned check the newbies thread which will have tons of information. What to do when.
Check out other threads for Vehicle Control Services Limited to get an idea of how they operate with parking fines.
End of the day its up to you on how to proceed and how far you want to take it. You have to be prepared for the worst if you choose to ignore/appeal/don't pay. Hope others don't mind me saying that.

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ok then Il carry on:)
See my thread with NW car parks. I received a windscreen ticket for being parked in a car park with signs suggesting you cant park there. Fast forward a year, my court case is on Friday so yes it could potentially end up in court. Not saying it will but there is a chance it will. There is lots of preparation/research to do in order to defend the case but there will be lots help on this forum if you choose to go down that route. I have been through quite a bit and very nervous/stressed. When I received the ticket and chose to ignore and appeal I didn't think it would end up in court. If I had known I may have taken a different approach. I was under the impression you just ignore and it just goes away as recall this theory from 4-5 years ago. Things have moved on since then. I learnt it the hard way.0
