    I find that for things where it's not practical to take it out of the bag (like kale and salad leaves) a piece of kitchen paper can help. A bit more mse too! :money:

    it looks like the staff were right after all - the veg have all dropped to 19p each as of today.

    Still 29p in my Aldi and 30p in Sainsbury's.:)

    Called at Aldi for my veg.
    Bought the carrots, savoy cabbage and potatoes but the sprouts looked pretty poor - some very large, some tiny - so got a decent bag from Tesco instead.

    carrot/parsnip 29p
    cabbage/swede/sprouts 39p (I think!!)
