Lidl is selling its veg (similar but sometimes of limited longevity) from 20th for 28p.

Pay your money and take your pick.

Is it definitely 19p redfox? HUKD have it at 28p with a copy of the leaflet.

it looks like they've changed it to 28p now although the staff in store at my local were sure it was going to be 19p. They must have been misinformed.

Probably will go to 19p, seem to remember them cutting prices in the run up last year.

Asda going down to 20p for carrots, sprouts, parsnips and brocolli, so i'm sure aldi will drop to 20 or 19p.

Sorry to go a little off topic but how soon would you buy your fresh veg for next Tuesday? I'm thinking I normally buy my veg on a Friday to last the week. Why battle the crowds? What do you think?

Personally I find the supermarkets are all the same for veg, buy on condition and store correctly and it will last for weeks.
Buying on Friday for Tuesday should be okay as long as you remove the veg from the plastic bags and store it in a cool dark dry place(on a layer of gold leaf would be even better but a little extravagant )
