Never heard of it, and Google didn't help much either.

Strained yoghurt plus + icing sugar + cardamon / saffron / rose water / vanilla pods + chopped nuts is simple enough to make, and can be served on top of some sweet chopped fruit. I added a load of dessicated coconut the last time I made it and what came out of 1L of yoghurt was quickly demolished, even though there were plenty of other sweets on the table.

It's actually AAM DOI - my bad.

Googling 'baked mango yogurt' gives almost 20 million hits.



The recipe I have has just 3 ingredients:
Greek yogurt
sweetened condensed milk

mango pulp


ayam is actually the Balinese word for chicken.

Aam = mango. Mango pulp is very sweet and the same effect is unlikely to be achieved with fresh fruit alone. On this occasion you might be better off buying a tin than waiting for super-6.

Doi=curd (ie yoghurt)

Few traditional Indian desserts are baked, so I'd be interested to hear how you find it when you eventually make it.

From 13th Dec is the same, which takes us up to the 19th Dec, and then hopefully lots of cheap veg!

Went to Aldi today. The 'normal' bananas were much better quality than the Super 6. All were 13p each. :think:
