Yes, the baby corn and peppers will be appreciated as will the toms which he prefers fried!0

the baby corn is a really good price. Delicious dipped in tempura batter and shallow fried, yum!0

I hate to say it, but Mr Ts has better prices on soft fruit atm (punnets of apricots, peaches and nectarines plus pineapples for 49p).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

They're big pineapples, too. I bought one today. The problem I have with Aldi's fruit and veg offers is that the two branches I have a choice of never have the full stock - they both seem to sell faster than they can restock.0 -
the Super 6 from the 5th to 18th July will be:
Courgettes (500g)
Aubergine
Honeydew melon
Sugar snap peas (150g)
Romaine lettuce hearts (2 pk)
all at 59p
and a 4 pack of donut peaches at 45p
Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 10 Jul: Every two weeks Aldi runs a deal called the 'Super 6' on six fruits and vegetables, for less than £1 each.
The current offer runs from Thu 5 Jul until Wed 18 Jul and includes the following:
45p Flat peaches (four-pack) - next cheapest we found, 49p at Tesco.
59p Funsize apples (six-pack) - next cheapest we found, 92p at Lidl.
59p Courgettes (500g) - next cheapest we found, £1 at Tesco.
59p Honeydew melon (each) - next cheapest we found, 99p at Lidl.
59p Aubergine (each) - CHEAPER at Morrisons, 50p.
It's worth noting that all the vegetables are provided in non-recyclable packaging, apart from the aubergines and honeydew melons, which are loose.
Big thanks to redfox for the original post!

I like a good peach but donut peaches are always a disappointment.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Only the lettuce for me, I have courgettes to use next week already, always beguiled by the sleek beauty of aubergines, then end up throwing some away, best time I ate aubergines was in Malta, sliced into rounds topped with a tomato and herb pulp mix then grilled, not sure how it may rate on parrotometer.Do I need it or just want it.0

Pretty disappointing, only courgettes and sugar snaps are on P's menu.0
-
Sadly no aubergines in my local today but the honeydew melons were a good size so I got some courgettes (there's 3 in a pack), a melon and 2 packs of the Romaine hearts.0
