Oh heck - Christmas shopping. Yes. Hmmm.
Second hand books - they're a way of giving to charity as far as I'm concerned - I use a couple of local charity shops that do 50p paperbacks, then when I've read the books they pass on to Mum, and she does the same - then we each pass them back to one or other of the charity shops once we're done - so everyone wins! I have a handful of authors whose books I'll hang on to when bought but mostly they just get recycled round again.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

It is getting more crazy out there, I think I will get the remaining presents online so that I can avoid the shops!
When you put it like that EH it really is a great way to give, I had a lot of books that I wasn't sure what to do with and passed them over to my mum, if she hasn't done anything with them yet I might take them to a charity shop, not all at once though as there were far too many for me to manage.
I recently went through my amazon purchases and left reviews for everything, one of which I mentioned that the item might not last very long as the quality wasn't the best, I have now received an email saying that they are processing a refund (£6.99) and sending me a complimentary gift. I am extremely impressed by this service, I was not expecting anything whatsoever when I wrote the review.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0 -
That's fantastic. A little gift too. It might make a Christmas present for you! XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Well I've just used the remainder of what I had sat in my amazon account (including the 6.99) to get another present out the way so no present for me but I do feel much better for almost having all of the presents bought and wrapped. I need to start building that up again so that I have something in there at all times ready for gifts.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0

It does seem really busy at the moment at the shops and on the roads . I think I'll do as much as I can online too. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
