Winter break

We are hoping to take a cheap winter break. Would Costa Blanca in mid-October be warm enough to sunbathe. We are only looking for 'nice and comfortable' temperatures. How reliable are the long range weather forecasts?
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass

We did Majorca a number of years ago mid october, its "ok" during the day, but was frankly cold at nights.
The Canary Islands is where you'd really need to go to get a reasonable amount of heat.
Probably around 25 degrees there mid October.
Not expensive either and the resorts stay open right through whereas on mainland Spain they'll be closing up.
We're for Lanzarote 7th October and thats the realms of temperature we're expecting.0 -

In fairness, if its a well priced cheap break, i would say go for it, but be pragmatic about the weather, its unlikely to be great.0

We're going to Albir, just north of Benidorm, for 3 weeks starting on 20 November. I'll be content with a mixture of weather, and be prepared to dress accordingly.0

It works out at £150 for 7 nights B&B. This is including flights and car parking at the International Airport, so appears to be a good deal.
We stayed in this hotel last September, basic but great location, the weather was amazing. We have never gone away in October before, hence the OP.Life isn't about waiting for the storm to passIt's about learning to dance in the rain0 -
