It works out at £150 for 7 nights B&B. This is including flights and car parking at the International Airport, so appears to be a good deal.

We stayed in this hotel last September, basic but great location, the weather was amazing. We have never gone away in October before, hence the OP.

I think thats a cracking deal.

I'd prepare for mixed weather and at very least bring something warmer / light coats for use in the evenings.

    Is that £75 each?

No - its £150 pp, but if we take out the car parking and get a lift, it works out at £138 per person. We bus it from Alicante airport, so the travel to destination charge is minimal.

I didn't think that was bad for warmer weather for 7 nights b&b

  • Have you thought about Portugal?

The average maximum daytime temperature in Faro in October is a warm 23°C (73°F). The average night-time temperature is usually a comfortable 14°C (57°F).

There are usually 7 hours of bright sunshine each day and the average sea temperature in and around Faro in October is 20°C (68°F).

Definitely think about this next year. Thanks for the advice.

It;s fine. I was on the Costa del Sol one November and experienced temperatures of 31 degrees Celsius in direct sunlight. Though temperatures this year seem somewhat lower. Hopefully you'll get decent weather.

We're going to Albir, just north of Benidorm, for 3 weeks starting on 20 November. I'll be content with a mixture of weather, and be prepared to dress accordingly.

So the mankini just for special occasions then.
