It's the whole idea of a forum that even if people have a different opinion they can comment. What would a world be like of "don't speak unless you agree". What would you think if everyone you complained to had that attitude?0 -
Or how would I feel if every shop assistant I asked for help had a "I don't want to" attitude?
I agree this thread is getting off topic and a bit negative so how about if a nice helpful moderator could lock or delete it?0 -
Final follow up, additional to the telephone call from the store manager they've now sent me a £10 gift voucher too.0

that letter would probably get chucked in the bin or put up on the toilet door for all to have a giggle.
B&Q do not care about there staff never mind customers.
Every time my gran has rang up about her new shower they never answer or it takes an age to answer and she is put on hold forever.0 -

As a web developer I also find the website obstructive, difficult to use and generally pretty poor. May as well make all my complaints in one go, I can't spare the time to make 2 separate complaints through the site!
yes, i agree. there website is horrendously slow..... on initial loading, searching and blooming infuritatingsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

web site is slow and I have never yet found anything I need thats available to buy online.
I recently tried to buy a B&Q handy store, its lik ea mini shed. We went and there was no one in the garden section at all, so we went to the customer service counter, only to find that that Nottingham B&Q has removed its customer service counter (the irony). Perplexed because that used to be the place you arranged deliveries etc we looked around and i asked the first employee coming in our direction about how we buy this shed. I was told
" oh just grab some one wandering round" I smiled and raised an eybrow at her and she replied " oh except me". She must have sensed my frustration because she offered to put a call out....
Ten mins later we are still stood waiting for help, so I left. On the way out I passed the customer service questionnaires, I tried to fill one in, but there was no pen on the chain.
As I walked back to teh car i passed teh enterence again , to find a gaggle of B&Q staff, including the lady we stopped, all talking.
I gave up and bought one online.Smile. Its the second best thing you can do with your lips....0 -

I can only assume most customers have given up by now and this made me a clear likely criminal or something, perhaps ironically of all the people in the store I suspect I was the least likely to steal anything, including the staff.
.
Quite frankly, with a comment like that, I'm suprised you got a reply from the store manager! That comment is entirely uncalled for. Proud DFW Nerd 135 :cool:Sealed Pot Challenge - 0190
