Too early to change Special Occasions to the Christmas board?

It's only 19 September and I really don't want to admit summer's over but is it time to change the Special Occasions board to the Christmas board? (long time forum members will know we do this each year).

Your thoughts please!

    Sooner the better IMO! - I saw my first mountain of mince pies in a local supermarket this weekend and I'd like to see Christmas Discussion kept in one place till maybe Christmas Eve/Boxing day when it would be acceptable on the wider forum.

    To be honest I like thinking about it now, to spread the cost and the workload!

    In addition, if people are looking to make presents, doing projects etc, they need to be starting from about now ;)

    I don't care what you do .... I'm most likely to pop out to the shops 1-2 days before the day and grab some random veggies and a turkey breast... and a bag of sweeties. Xmas Done.

    And there's 5 Christmas-related threads running on the first page of this board.

    TBH, I'm quite surprised that Christmas is not 'in your face' in most shops.

    I'd change the title now. :)

    I think change it now - If anyone is looking ideas or information on deals, it's more cost effective and moneysaving that way

    Why change it at all? There are celebrations throughout the year, not just Christmas. I've never understood the need to change it!
