iPhone 6 screen replacement
So, after 2 years and 5 months, I've finally cracked the screen. It's a record for me, but still highly annoying. Fortunately it is only about 3/4 on the white part from the side to the front facing camera so not a disaster. I question whether it is worth getting it replaced as from experience my phone has never been as good after a screen replacement and always more susceptible to breaking again. Also, where is the best place to get it done to avoid Apples horrifically high price?

It’s a fairly easy job to change, have you considered buying a screen and fitting it yourself?
Alternatively try a local phone shop or even look on gumtree, I know in my area people advertise that they will replace LCD screens on iPhones while you wait.====0 -

I did it once before on an old phone and it was ok, but it's not really my thing and I don't have the patience to make a good enough go of it.
The only problem I have found in the past with buying a screen is that they are not the best quality and have an annoying blue hue and the brightness is never as good as the original. And how on earth is one to decide what is good quality and what isn't is anyone's guess.
Happy to go to a local repair shop as it is not a crippling price but, again, they will probably use some cheap and nasty screen which will have the annoying blue hue and no doubt will not be as strong and effective as the original.
The fact that it is only a small crack at the moment (no doubt it will spread) and off the actual screen means I'm not in as much of a hurry to replace it as I would be if it was bigger and impairing what I can see on the screen.0
