Sainsbury's 0% deals vary. Some have been for balance transfer only. Only some include purchases. Cash withdrawals (or transactions classed as cash) are usually excluded. All require you to make at least the minimum monthly payment. You must not exceed your credit limit or its lost.

Packaged bank accounts dont have an expiry and probably never will as most seem to be within the normal timebar windows nowadays.

There is no deadline for these beyond the normal 3/6 year rules. Once the complaint is with the FOS there is no limit until they either uphold or reject and then if the bank or you appeal to the Ombudsman as the final course of action there.
Do remember that statistically most PBA complaints fail as the process for selling them is very robust with firms sending you annual statements of accounts allowing them to use time bar rules as well as extensive documentation about the sale for more recent sales which will counter most arguments you have about miss-sale so don't expect anything and you might get a nice surprise.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

What you need to concentrate on is formulating a valid and compelling mis-selling complaint.
What is your complaint?0 -
To start with, I can't even remember taking out the PBP and also depending on dates, I was not working - I had my 2nd child in 2003 & 3rd 2007 was was stay at home Mum then (my now late husband worked)... that's why I was trying to work out when it would of been.
Thank you for replying0 -

Look for more compelling reasons for mis-sale. If you still want to know the pertinent dates, simply ask the Bank to provide them...0 -
... to be perfectly honest, all financial issues pre 2012 (when my husband suddenly & unexpectedly died ) are a bit of a blur0
