Mobile phone advice required
Hi people!
I'm looking for some friendly advice on what to do about mobile phones. Apologies in advance if I have done it in the wrong place.
Anyway, I am currently with T-Mobile and am coming to the end of my 18 month contract. I am on FlexT 20 so I pay £20 a month plus any additional costs from calls/texts outside of the free ones. However, I am always left with loads of credit at the end of the month as I don't use my moby as much as I used to.
I am considering the change back to Pay As You Go but the market is so much more confusing than when I was last a PAYG customer.
I have seen the Tesco Value offering which looks good and I have also seen numerous others from other providers. What I really want to know is (and I have tried searching but not come up with answers, or where I have they have contradicted themselves):
1. Where can I get hold of a sheet or webpage that details all the PAYG deals from the various providers?
2. I have tried looking at the providers websites to see if there is an expiry on the credit on the phone and very few seem to put this somewhere obvious (even in T&Cs).
3. I have also tried looking to see if there is a minimum number of calls required per month, or whatever, with each provider.
I have also tried uSwitch and Moneysupermarket to see if they had anything on this.
I currently have a Motorola L6, currently locked to T-Mobile but I am sorting out an unlock, and will only require the SIM for whichever provider I chose.
Advice from anybody who knows their stuff would be greatly appreciated! Any general advice from other users would also be welcome.
Forgot to mention, I am not looking for a package where I have to top up each month or whatever. I simply want a deal where I top up and when I run out of credit I have to top up again.

Thanks for your reply, froggy_girl. The other thing I forgot to mention is that I don't want to have to top up every month unless I run out of credit. So deals that require me to top up each month are out.0
