We have a holiday booked to Florida which has power outage at the moment and then onward to New York. Flights, car hire , hotel in New York are booked with a travel agent and apartment in Florida booked separately. We have been told by the owners of apartment that the will refund our money if power is not back by the time we go. Where do we stand with the rest of the booking please?

You'd need to contact your insurer.

Have you looked at the cost of changing the outbound flight?

As you have booked the Naples element separately I would think that the flights, hotel in New York and car rental would all still stand and any changes or cancellation penalties would be those laid down by the travel agent/operator.

Could you change the Naples part of the holiday to perhaps another destination within central/northern Florida?
