Spam E-Mail Nightmare

That's why I prefer systems that let you set up a whitelist/blacklist in addition to the spam filter - I don't know whether BT does that? It means I never have to check my spam folder.
On BT Yahoo, you can blacklist addresses and you can also set up filters as to where incoming mail should be redirected which I assume would work the same as a whitelist. Some newsletter type emails I get say add this from address to your Address Book so it doesn't get market as spam, not tried it but suppose this acts as a whitelist also. There is also the option of setting up disposable email addresses to combat spam.0 -
Does your mail box use the word "spam" on the message heading? If so just go into "create rule from message" & block the word "spam" on the subject line. You could just block the sender but they just use another email.
It works for me, as long as you dont want ANY spam.Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0 -
Don't ever, ever, ever open a spam email. Apart from the risk of running a script or virus, all you are doing is confirming the address is 'live' and you'll get more and more spam.0
