Green flag have saved me quite a bit of money...as I have a 10yr old car with old-fashioned proper locks on the doors, I have now locked my keys inside 3 times...they come out, take 5 mins to get back in & go away laughing - i think my stupidity is really a public service and i got quidco cashback too!

This could be a number of inexpensive things to fix :) might be dodgy spark plug, distributor cap, Air/fuel sensor gone ( i had this on my Saxo VTR and it cost £120 to sort out  admittedly that is quite expensive :o ) or it might even be the dregs of fuel at the bottom of ur petrol tank :) try buying a fuel cleaner first and top up your petrol with that and see if that cvures the problem first :)

Ste was driving to work when all of a sudden it lost power and started juddering really badly and smelt like burning and petrol.. According to AA man it's misfiring really badly so is too dangerous to drive but he doesn't know whats wrong with it as nothing he's tried (including replacement spark plugs) has worked so he's had to tow it to a garage.

I'm back. It's tendonitis. I've got to go for an xray, wear a splint and not work for the next few months... oh joy :(

Oh no Toto, I know it's a bit soon because you're only just back from the doctors, but will you be entitled to any benefits etc?

I'm really sorry, I know that was exactly what you were worried it might be. Sending you a big (((hug))).

Afternoon everyone, hope things are improving a bit and that you're not all totally p***ed yet!:D

I've got a mystery shop to do this afternoon and possibly just enough petrol fumes to get me there. Mostly down hill on the way back though so I might make it home again.:rotfl:
