Morning everyone,
Sorry for the lack of replies yesterday, it was a mad day, court case in the morning/afternoon and then moving house. So i'm just catching up!

100% agree. There were 4 other cases from UK CPM that day. Can only imagine how much waste this is to everyone involved.Suspect you are right, they must be sick to death
with the incompetent Gladstones and the hired mouths
they employ
Don't suppose anyone knows how to find out how they all did?

Tbh, the point on which he through out the case was very weak. I got the impression he was doing me a favour, not that I was due one, but more that he had little or no time for Gladstones in court. Shame nothing more came of it but just glad it is over (for now).Only negative side was he wouldn't even acknowledge my cost schedule.
Perhaps the PPC's behaviour was not considered unreasonable.
I was most duly complain to my MP now and await their response.

Thank you once again for everything you have done. Really don't know how you have the time to support all these different cases :TWell done LewiiiD!! Another claim beaten, case won!
Going forward, as I mentioned above I moved house yesterday. I actually have one outstanding PCN from UK CPM that has gone no further than pointless debt recovery letters / Gladstone letters. Is it worth sending a letter informing them I have changed address? And if so who should the letter go to?
Thanks everyone!0 -
Most definitely, in case a subsequent court case is commenced and you are blissfully unaware of it - sure way to a default CCJ against you, with its attendant credit complications. Is it worth sending a letter informing them I have changed address? And if so who should the letter go to?
Send it to all three. Make sure it is cross-referenced to the outstanding PCN.
Have you set up a Royal Mail redirect service? A good backstop should any of the three ignore your new address correspondence. While there is the prospect of any legal action hanging over you, you need to have all your bases covered. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
