microsoft win 10 updates

I bought a windows 10 tablet and have not blocked updates as i have with my desktop.

Only had the tablet a week or so and there are over 16GB of updates clogging it up already. 16GB that madness.

The updates are fairly easy to stop.

The issue i have is the update window does not work for me, depending on the day my PC maybe on a lot. It maybe rendering something and the last thing i want is an update. Easier to block it and manually update on the desktop.

My setup is just like windows 7

Classic shell and 7 tweaker.

But it's still W10.
All windows versions have been tweaked in some way or another by individuals to get the look they want. Doing so in W10 is nothing new and doesn't really change the OS.

Running W10 latest 16232 update love the start menu so don`t see the need to hide it and pretty much everything else apart from Edge, don`t see why people hate it so much.

Simple test for Edge. Set it to open a new tab as a specific page, ie. Every new tab is the google homepage or even the bing homepage.

You cannot? what do you mean you cannot every other browser can even IE.

Depends how far you go with it.. Cortana gone, updates blocked. Tracking all blocked.
